The Thunderkick stand at SiGMA Expo Malta aimed to create an overall lounge feel, excluding traditional elements like TVs and reception areas. The client's vision was centred around a clean and bold aesthetic.
The stand featured a combination of high and low seating, with a particular focus on an open bar area. The goal was to establish a welcoming and bright space that showcased the brand's identity.
To bring the client's vision to life, the initial sketches focused on an open layout with a prominent bar area. Special attention was given to the bar's design, which included custom-made booths, high stools, and tables with a unique square shape.
Detailed renders were created to present the stand concept comprehensively. The emphasis was on reflecting the solutions implemented, including illumination, gradients, and colour representation. The renders allowed the client to visualise a realistic representation of the final look.
The custom bar featured a distinctive construction with a gradient surface and internal illumination. It included shelving, space for a mini-fridge, and careful consideration for practical elements while maintaining a striking appearance.
A standout feature was the light sign, placed to contrast with the background and attract attention from a distance. The sign not only represented the brand but also contributed to the overall visibility of the stand.
The stand's construction involved thoughtful decisions to maintain openness while creating a defined space. A low-level barrier on the left side prevented access but allowed for glimpses inside, contributing to a more inviting atmosphere.
The recessed floor added a touch of professionalism and enhanced the overall aesthetic.
